English 225 is an Advanced Composition that focuses on writing knowledge. You will particularly learn to conduct research ethically and responsibly, write in diverse genres, and interact with discourse communities that you find relevant and related. In ENG 225, you will also continue practicing writing strategies and rhetorical knowledge from First-Year Composition (ENG 111), including topic invention, audience adaptation, revision process, and reflective transfer. Through practicing and theorizing writing knowledge in ENG 225, you will develop the necessary rhetorical dexterity for writing and communicating across disciplines, languages, genres, and communities.
